If you have a smartphone and a competitive edge, then this BlogHunt is for you!
Download the Scavenger Hunt with Friends app to your phone (iPhone, iPad or Android) and RSVP in the comments below with your username so we can be sure to add you to the Hunt.
During the Hunt, which will take place from August 3 – 8, participants will be required to upload photos from your phone, through the app. Each clue, listed in the app, will have a different point value assigned to it. Simply snap a picture of the item, person, product, or place listed and upload.
Players will be able to see the stats and learn who is in the lead throughout the event. Recent photos also appear on the screen so you can see what other participants have been up to.
By participating, you provide permission for us to use your photos for promotional use.
We will have winners and prizes based on the most points accumulated, but the best part of this event is the Hunt itself, and the wonderful bloggers you’ll meet along the way.
Check out the app ahead of time so you know how it is supposed to work. If wi-fi becomes an issue during the event, don’t worry! You can save your photos on your device which you can upload when it’s more convenient.
If you’re a blogger or company that would like to sponsor a clue in the Hunt, please contact us soon. Sponsored clues can include your product, location or logo. All photos will be amplified in our many social media channels and in a slide show that will be created after the Hunt ends and winners are determined.
Don’t forget to check out the list of sponsors and follow them on Twitter. Many of them will be giving more details on the clues and how to find them during BlogHer.
