Jessica Alba – stepmom and secret agent in Spy Kids: All the Time in the World

3D movies have been around for years, but this summer, August 19th to be exact, moviegoers will get to experience 4D for the first time, while seeing (and smelling) Spy Kids: All the Time in the World, using the new Aromascope technology.

Actually, it’s nothing new, really, just new to films. Viewers will be given a numbered scratch-n-sniff card with their movie ticket and will be prompted throughout the film to scratch off the items when its number appears on the screen. Pay attention!

Jessica Alba stars as a new mom and stepmom in the latest in the Spy Kids franchise. With baby #2 on the way, Jessica could certainly relate to the challenging balance of work and motherhood her character deals with in her latest film.

In a conference call a few weeks back, Jessica took the time to speak with several bloggers about her role in the film, her real life role as a mom and juggling it all.

According to Jessica, she’s having a “fierce, insatiable craving for

watermelon” during her second pregnancy and noticed that her belly ‘popped’ much earlier than it did with her first child.

While her second baby is not due until after the film is released, fans will be eager to see her give birth in the film, one of her favorite scenes to film from this movie!

Her weekends are devoted to family, which means she and her husband have made a commitment to turn off the blackberry and spend that quality time with their daughter, truly focusing on face time and setting work aside on weekends, something that many parents have a difficult time doing “after hours.”

Jessica Alba is due in September. She and husband Cash Warren have not revealed the baby’s sex. Honor Marie, born in 2008, is their first child.
